I like these a lot. And I don't mind the gray box around the image. But I am curious to see it without it. I like what you did with the rag and blue text. And I think the fact that your magazine is in orientation is really cool. Just a nit-picky thing: I think the kerning of your subhead is a little too tight. Also, can the number '50' be treated differently? Maybe a different typeface. This may be fine, but I want to compare and judge it against other treatments.
